Promoting and supporting the UK fishing industry in Parliament.
The APPG on Fisheries is a neutral, cross-party forum for debate, discussion and learning within Parliament. The Group was founded by MPs and Peers who want to promote and support a thriving and sustainable UK fishing industry, whilst exploring key questions for the future of fishing, processing, coastal communities and the marine environment.
We are at the forefront of vital conversations for fishing and associated industries in Parliament. Bringing together expert insight, best practice and case studies from across the UK and further, the APPG facilitates and reports on these conversations, via open Parliamentary seminars, publications and a vibrant online presence.
As we continue to chart a new era for fishing in the UK, maintaining open and informed debate around fisheries management, science, policy, economics - and all related subjects - remains as important as ever. We look forward to welcoming you to these discussions.
